The Story Behind Procycle Mobile: A Passion for Cycling, A Drive for Convenience

Every great journey starts with a single pedal stroke, and for me, that journey led to the creation of Procycle Mobile—a business born out of my love for cycling and a desire to make high-quality bike servicing more accessible to riders. Based just outside of Aylesbury, UK, in the village of Stone. 

Where It All Began

Like many cyclists, I’ve spent years maintaining and repairing bikes, both for myself and friends. I saw firsthand how difficult it can be for people to find the time to take their bikes to a shop, often delaying essential servicing until it was too late. That’s when the idea clicked—why not bring professional bike servicing directly to the customer, on their schedule, at their convenience?

With that thought, Procycle Mobile was born.
The Mission: Helping Riders Buy Back Their Time

Time is one of the most valuable assets we have, and I wanted to create a service that gave cyclists more of it. Whether you’re a daily commuter, weekend warrior, or serious racer, your bike needs regular care, but getting it to a shop takes time out of your day. Procycle Mobile eliminates that hassle by offering on-site bike servicing, so you can keep rolling without the downtime.

At the moment, it's just me—no van (yet), no big team, just a passion for bikes and a commitment to top-notch service. I meet customers at their homes, workplaces, or even trails, ensuring they get the best possible care without interrupting their busy lives.

Expanding the Community: The Road Ahead Podcast

Beyond servicing bikes, I wanted to create something that connects and informs cyclists beyond the repair stand. That’s why I started The Road Ahead Podcast—a place where I chat with industry experts, fellow riders, bike shop owners, and manufacturers about everything from new gear and trends to the joy of cycling. The podcast isn’t just about mechanics; it’s about the culture, stories, and passion that make cycling so special.

The Road Ahead for Procycle Mobile

This is just the beginning. As Procycle Mobile grows, I plan to expand services, invest in a fully-equipped van, and continue finding ways to make bike servicing as seamless and accessible as possible. My goal is to keep riders on the road (or trail) with minimal fuss, maximum convenience, and expert service.
